Writeups (stories, ideas, codes)
(2010. 03. 02.)

Dear contestants,

having a short rest after the EC, we started to collect and organize our
thoughts in a public svn and web page. We plan to have short writeups
about the history, background and development of the problems, the input
files, solvers, the infrstructure we used for the EC, etc.

We encourage teams to send us their thoughts, ideas, code, solver
programs and critics so we could publish them in the same repository.
For now, please send your comments/files to the EC mailing list.

You can subscribe to the list by sending an email to ec-subscribe@lists.challenge24thelegend.com. The address of the list is ec@lists.challenge24thelegend.com.

Important info about EC
(2010. 02. 26.)

Dear Contestants,

We would like to share two really important things with you:

1.  We made available the Intro section of the EC Problem Set. Please read it through really carefully! It contains important informations about the scoring system and the contact channels you can reach us during the contest.

Link:  http://www.challenge24thelegend.com/2010/files/ec_intro.pdf

2. We also made available the input files of the problems, because it is quite large (~10MB). The zip files are protected with passwords that we will publish at 10am (CET) on 27th February when the contest is starting.

Link: http://www.challenge24thelegend.com/2010/files/inputs.zip

Please be sure that your team meets the requirements and is EC ready:

  • has 3 members and members are accepted (there's no pending request)
  • all members are EC ready (has accepted data and CV)

Thanks,

The organizer team

Test contest!!
(2010. 02. 14.)

Nothing like this has happened before!! A test competition and 10.000 Euro in prizes at the jubilee X. BME Challenge24 international programming competition! You do not want to be left out do you?! You are not late at all, thanks to the test run you can register until February 23rd 23:59 (CET) on the official site http://challenge24thelegend.com

The online qualification round takes place a few days after the registration deadline, on February the 27th from 10:00-15:00 (CET). This year there will also be a test run on February the 20th from 08:00-20:00 (CET) – just like the online qualification round, but with fewer and much simpler problems. This round will be an opportunity for the teams to familiarize themselves with our submission system, and the general atmosphere of the competition. Points obtained in the test run aren’t counted, but participation is recommended - the tasks may contain some hints about the tools needed to solve the problems of the qualification round.
